Google is currently rolling out a September 2022 Broad Core Update – however if they are on schedule the update should be done this week. It is important to review your Google Analytics and Search Engine Rankings – and compare them to 30 days ago. This update seems to be focused primarily on promoting or demoting websites based on their content. It began on 9/12/22 and this update is different that the “Helpful Content Update” a little over a month and a half ago. If you have not checked your analytics, website traffic and search engine rankings in the past week it likely would be a good thing to do now and often over the next few weeks. The update has been rolling out the past two weeks and can significantly hurt your online rankings. Some websites have seen serious traffic drops. If you notice significant traffic drops or your rankings have disappeared it is vital to immediately review your content and follow Google’s Content Advice.
